The Ledger is an independent price tracker for designer and niche fragrances in the UK.

Fragrance is one of the most heavily discounted categories in retail. The same bottle can sell for very different prices at different shops, and the price at any one shop can move several times a month. That makes it hard to know whether a "sale" is actually a good deal.

We built The Ledger to answer one question honestly: is this a genuinely good price right now?

What we do

• Check prices from UK retailers every morning.
• Keep a record of every price we see, so each product has its own price history.
• Publish a drop only when an in-stock item is well below its own recent price, not just below an inflated "was" price.
• Send a short morning email with the day's best drops.

What we don't do

• We don't sell fragrance. We point you to the retailer.
• We don't accept payment to feature or rank a product.
• We don't list testers, samples or unofficial grey-market sellers.

How we make money

When you buy through a link on The Ledger, the retailer may pay us a small commission. It never changes the price you pay, and it never changes which drops we publish. Every drop is chosen by the same rules, which you can read on How we track prices.
